Optimus Limited was created by Shaun Cooper, after a stellar and long-standing career with Kennet Electrical.
Kennet Electrical Contractors was formed in 2008 by Phil Shailes, with the goal to provide highly professional, skilled electrical services throughout the South of England.
After growing massively throughout Kennet’s 14 years, the business decided to push even further, and so Optimus Limited was born.
The partnership, has allowed Optimus to further develop relationships with clients, with the added bonus of knowledge in renewables, and project design.

Shaun Cooper is an elite time served Electrician with over 25 years’ experience in the electrical & Construction industry.
Shaun started his career as an electrical apprentice in the Melksham area in 1988.
The disciplines undertaken within the region include Electrical and Mechanical industrial, commercial and agricultural installations, Thermal Imaging, Electrical Inspection and Test, Emergency lighting design and maintenance programs, Mechanical and Electrical Planned Maintenance.
Shaun has achieved an enviable track record of developing client focussed opportunities based on the partnering philosophy.
